Patience Chords & Guitar Lesson

Welcome to my Patience chord chart by Guns ‘N Roses. This is a great acoustic song. Every rock band needs a great acoustic guitar song, right?

FUN FACT: Guns ‘N Roses is actually some of my favorite music to play on the drums. Yes, I also dabble on the drums.

This song is going to require us to tune our guitar down a half step. So instead of our guitar being tunes top to bottom E, A, D, G, B and e it will be tuned Eb, Ab, Dd, Gb, Db and eb.

Tuning: 1/2 step down
Tempo: 120 bpm

The intro to this song is two guitars. One is doing some light strumming and the other is doing some picking. We will focusing on the strumming. You can start off by strumming chords and holding and then developing into the strumming pattern below.

If you want to try picking, work on arpeggios on the chords. 8th note patterns. If you are uncertain how to play this very common part of music, check out my Guitar Course where I go over some arpeggio picking patterns.
