Edge Of Seventeen Chord Chart
by Stevie Nicks

Welcome to my Edge of Seventeen chord chart by Stevie Nicks. Love me some Stevie Nicks. My dad had the cassette tape in the truck and we would listen to it all the time. Some of my favorite songs to sings are Stevie songs because she's and alto like me. But I digress....let's talk guitar.

This song is fairly simple. Uses our easy guitar chords C, D and Em. There are a couple options you can use for this songs.

1. Picking (harder)

2. Strumming (easier)

I will talk about the picking pattern played by the lead guitar on this which is super cool and played throughout the entire song, but it's played in 16th notes which requires some pretty fast picking that usually isn't possible for beginners. You can always pick quarter of eighth notes as well.

Picking: All played on the A string, you will change between the 3rd, 5th and 7th frets

1 e + a  2e + a  3 e + a  4 e + a
DU DU  DU DU  DU DU  DU DU

Intro Pattern:
7th fret 4 measures followed by, 3rd fret 1 measure, 5th fret 1 measure and 7th fret 2 measures

Strumming option 1: Easier
1 2+  3 4+
D DU D DU

Strumming option 2: Harder
1  2 + a  3 +   4 + a
D DDU  D D  D DU
