Easiest Beginner Guitar Chords

The two easiest beginner guitar chords that you need to learn are the Em (E minor) chord and the D 6/9 chord (D six nine). The chords only require you to use the first and second fingers in the same frets only on different strings. Once you master these chords, you can actually use them to play through a full song called Horse With No Name.

In the video below, I will show you how to fret these two chords as well as how to change between the two chords. I would recommend practicing these back and forth and back and forth until you have them memorized. Once you have the two chord positions memorized, then I would recommend you go check out the Horse With No Name guitar lesson tutorial on my website.
