Blowin’ In The Wind Chords & Guitar Lesson

Welcome to my Blowin’ In The Wind chord chart by Bob Dylan. This is such a great song and can be played fingerpicking or strumming depending on what version you listen to.

I will be using this version here:
(157) Bob Dylan - Blowin' in the Wind (Audio) - YouTube

Now Bob does some add in some things like walk downs that we are not going to go over in detail here, but I would highly recommend using a straight arpeggio pattern with an alternation bass line. What do I mean but that?

G chord example with strings
Beat: 1 2 + 3 4 +
String: 6 32 5 32

C chord example with strings
Beat: 1 2 + 3 4 +
String: 5 32 4 32

You can also you a Travis Picking pattern if you’d like on this song and that will work as well.
